Senior Project Week 5 Project Report

Hours this week: ~6

This week I took the time to use Professor Messer as a study resource. There was no real issues, or ways thing can go wrong, as the bulk of my project of getting my cert will be studying. I can always study more, though, and I did not study as much as I probably could have. Regardless, I am proud of my advancements this week.

I learned that the security+ exam has been the SY0-701 since November 7th of 2023 and will remain such until May 2027.

The exam is a 90 minute multiple choice exam of up to 90 questions. I will need a passing score of at least 750.

I watched a 3 hour professor messer study video alongside frequent pausing, rewinding, and note taking. I am becoming more comfortable with what I am weak at. Next week I will begin making note cards.
